Only wanted a tub liner.

Hi James, Thank you for taking the time to write Bath Planet a review. All of our local dealers are independently owned and operated so even though the Bath Planet website shows all of the items that Bath Planet offers, it's up to the local dealer. Bath Planet Corporate manufactures tub liners and replacement tubs, but some dealers only want to do replacement. The reason is that in a lot of cases a tub liner is really just an expensive bandaid. We've seen a ton of installations where when we remove the tub and walls, there is damage, mold, mildew, wood rot, and water damage, behind the walls or damage to the flooring underneath the tub, so a lot of our dealers prefer to rip everything out, fix any damage and then install the new system, so they know it's done right. If customers have damage, they put in a liner, then the damage gets so bad that they have to rip everything out and do a replacement. The most expensive home improvement project is the one you have to do twice so our dealers try to avoid that at all costs.
