NOT WHAT I ENVISIONED

11/02/2019 I would like to express my disappointment about my Bath Planet experience! First of all I feel I was told & sold things that were not available. Even though I expressed my main goal and concern for renovating my shower was to have a window and how much it meant to me! I wasn’t once told it would be an issue, that’s why the window seal kit was purchased. Then when Willie did the demo and saw it wasn’t an actual window in there it was an issue. On the day the contract was signed the salesman even walked to the backyard to look and saw the window was covered, I mentioned it had been covered since 2008 when the other shower was installed but never once did he say if there isn’t a window there I would have to get it installed, that’s why I thought I was charged so much more, is because I wanted that window. I had other lower quotes from other companies for the same shower with a window & lifetime warranty but decided to go with Bath Planet because of the good reviews and the things I was told at the initial visit. Also the salesman said he was going to come on the first day to show me step by step what was going to be done but he never came. Well not only that , on the second day there was poor communication and no one ever showed up, even after I told them I took these 2 days off UNPAID, specifically to get this shower installed. So therefore I had 2 cancel all my Saturday plans to continue & finish. But I will say Willie was good through this process cause he worked hard and even came on Saturday, which I was told by that same salesman that they don’t work on weekends. I guess I was mistaken to think Bath Planet was my best option, just because I was charged more and told I would have no issues with product or installation. I seriously feel like some more training or retraining needs to be done so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I worked very hard to make this happen, only to get something I’m not satisfied with. Although it’s a new & nice shower its not what I envisioned or was quoted for!
